The Sound of Scars chronicles the journey of the three lifelong friends who formed one of hard rock’s most influential bands, Life of Agony.
The band debuted in 1993 with River Runs Red and has since sold more than one million albums. They also made history by being fronted by the first openly transgender singer, notes the site.
“The project utilizies personal archival footage, rare photographs, and lost interviews alongside new conversations with the band and their family members. It is directed and produced by Leigh Brooks.”
“While Life of Agony has proven itself as an incredible act on stage, it’s rare that we get to see what makes a band of this caliber work behind the scenes,” said Cinedigm’s Manager of Acquisitions, Brandon Hill.
