Renny Harlin is returning to the world of sharks with “Deep Water,” an epic survival thriller that will mark the first film greenlit under the new company Simmons/Hamilton Productions.

The adventurous tale follows an eclectic group of international passengers whose plane, en route from LA to Shanghai, is forced to make an emergency landing in shark-infested waters.

The terrified group must work together and overcome their differences if they hope to escape their sinking plane and the frenzy of sharks drawn to the wreckage.

Echt schade, dass Eckhart inzwischen nur noch in solchen Filmen zu sehen ist.

Das hatte ich mich auch neulich mal gefragt, wann eigentlich der Karriereknick für Aaron Eckhart kam... nach "Thank You for Smoking", "The Dark Knight" und Co. galt der ja fast schon als Star, ist jetzt aber doch eher der Mann für die besser budgetierte Videothekenware geworden.
